What is this 50 shades of grey thing.
I know it a banned book but its getting turned to to some feminist /womans right crap and they are on the news crying about how bad woman have it and blah blah blah.
It’s a book about a “Dominant” man manipulating a virgin into kinky sex.See, I’m a feminist and a kinkster. The book doesn’t annoy me for it’s anti-feminist values, it annoys me because it’s essentially a story about abuse, being called BDSM. BDSM is all about consent; this story is not.Feminist groups have the same problem with it that they have with BDSM in general; it promotes violence towards women. The truth is, Men and Women can be Dominant and submissive within BDSM, meaning there’s just as many women beating up men, and just as many people getting their kink on without anyone getting hurt. But the point of BDSM is that it’s all about CONSENT. No one is in a healthy BDSM relationship unless they want to be. But some Fem groups don’t want to hear that. Just like some Feminists feel any woman who wants to stay home with the kids is letting the side down. That, and all the kinky sex. It’s probably banned in some places ’cause of that, too.

Does anyone else think 50 shades of gray is stupid.
Am I the only one that hates that book, it’s so annoying how ppl r obsessed with it
Why is it that if a guy likes porn its bad but if a girl does its OK(ie 50 shades-they were even selling it by the tills in asda and tesco).
Also is 50 Shades of Grey any good? BY the way this is a serious question, I am a feminist and really want to know
50 shades of grey is problematic, porn being bad is an ethical thing, not related to the concept of porn innatelyhttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/carey-purc…SPOILER ALERTI will admit it. I have read all three books in the Fifty Shades of Grey series.I am not admitting this because I am ashamed of my sexual desires or even because I feel the need to rant and rave about the poor writing quality of these books. (And it is extremely poor. I set my Kindle to count how many times the word “gasp” is used in the third book and the total was more than 70). I am admitting this because I feel the need to share my opinions about what I consider to be the incredibly — and dangerously — abusive relationship portrayed in the books.http://www.theguardian.com/society/2012/…I understand that some schools of feminist thought are going to have problems with submission as a concept. One of my big frustrations with the success of Fifty Shades of Grey is that there is so much of the main relationship that plays into the misconception that a sexual relationship based around BDSM is, at its core, an abusive one.As such, feminists, quite rightly, have a massive problem with it. (http://www.theguardian.com/books/2012/au… But while I’d agree with their summation of that (admittedly fictional) relationship, it’s as different to my relationship with my partner as night is to day.why is it OK if a girl likes porn but if a guy does it not?- i’m not certain that’s a serious question, leaving aside the fact that I don’t consider porn to be books, in general terms porn means graphical audio/visual representations of sex.Porn is huge and principally caters to cis-gendered heterosexual men as it’s principal audience, it’d be pretty difficult to argue that we don’t, more or less consider porn acceptable in private spheres, obviously if you watch porn at work you get sacked, but otherwise porn is not regarded as anything special.
can anyone tell me how many pages 50 shades of Grey ebook version has.
mine has 356 pages, and the last page says: end of part one, does it mean that there are more pages or that 50 shades darker is the second part?
There are 3 books in the series :)50 shades darker is the second book
Why do women like: 50 Shades of Grey.
I mean, its Twilight fanfiction! How is this a hot seller? There are way better books out there than Twilight or 50 Shades of Grey.
It’s the new generation, man. People are into all sorts of weird things. I was rereading “Pride & Prejudice” yesterday and I realized something, the behavior of the youngest sister Lydia was considered unladylike and unsuitable (she’s a big flirt and speaks boldly, sometimes a little rudely.) She ran off with a guy who promised to marry her, they had sex before marriage. I remember thinking: What’s so bad about this? Women are typically like this. My point is, the world is revolving into a less classier and tasteless place. (with exception of many, I’m generalizing here)Personally, I loved 50 Shades of Grey. It’s so bloody awful it makes for the perfect comedy. It also makes me feel better about my horrid writing skills.
IS THERE A MOVIE LIKE 50 SHADES OF GREY.
I read the book “50 Shades of Grey” and thought it was about something else.
I thoight it was about how many shades of grey there actually was the book just made me confused, what does the title of the book have to do with the story it makes no sense?
The main character, Christian Grey, was a broken and abused man. He,and the woman who loved him, referred to him as screwed up in at least 50 ways..hence 50 Shades of Grey. You’d have to read the book and try to focus in order to understand.
how many chapters are there in the book “FIfty shades of grey” .
I downloaded the ebook for fifty shades of grey and i cant help but notice that some paragraphs end abruptly ,and i think its because the book is not full , i want to know how many chapters are in the original book? mine has 26. thanks!
26 in the ebook version I have. You have to start the next book, 50 Shades Darker in order to pick up the story. They very much run right into each other as far as storyline goes. The second and third were better than the first if you’re at all interested in the characters.
