How Do I Share My Audible Books

How does a fair-minded person figure out Christian explanations.

They make it so difficult to determine which claims are correct. They say that God is INFALLIBLE, and Jesus and God are the SAME GOD.—But then they say that God in the O.T. said and did many things that were WRONG, but Jesus in the New Testament corrected all these MISTAKES so they made a NEW COVENANT with...

Big J,I was going to put a piece on televangelism on my web page but I have to build it and I haven’t got a clue ow to do it without having to buy software. So, I’ve put it off.Understanding the human mind is no easy task and I spent years learning about it.I have a postulation regarding the response by true believers to televangelism in particular. I will eventually outline two psychiatric disorders that I believe can be identified with the success of the TV Preachers, in particular.Regarding the bible, few christians know anything about the book save the memorization of various scriptures. I doubt the average preacher can tell you detailed information regarding the construction of the book they all claim to understand. This fixation on scripture accompanied with an almost complete ignorance of the actual history of the bible is rampant in christianity. We see it in here and on TV; self appointed sooth-sayers making pronouncements about what god thinks and says, making actual quotes of jesus. This always amazes me and I assume they do it out of ignorance.Honesty is in short supply in religion.

The third staircase loomed high before me. I felt the familiar chill of the night-time air raise goosebumps on my skin. Or was it the fear from the all too familiar and ancient scent that filled the room? I couldn’t decide, and I knew I shouldn’t wait to figure it out. Every moment was precious. The instructions…

Okay! You have the beginnings of something rather spectacular here. The premise is beginning to form out of the mist. And you have tempted me to read about Anubi and to find out who Mason and the lady-ghost are. Good hook. You should probably work with an editor to help you polish this. All writers find themselves repeating words and phrases because that is just how the human mind works. For example, in paragraphs 2 and 3 you have used the word “sense” three times (in its various forms). An editor will help you find these repetitive places and suggest alternate words. There are other stylistic issues in this piece, but overall it is a good draft. Do you have a critique group to share this with? They would be able to function editorially to assist you with repetition in both phraseology and sentence structure. Free online books for kids

i need to read “A tale of two cities” and “lost horizons” by August 12 does anyone have any reading tips.

Can anyone share their reading tips or give any suggestions on how i should knock this task out??

When I had to read for my English classes, I always tried to make it as enjoyable an experience as I could. I turned on my iTunes to an instrumental playlist (as lyrics often distract me) and sat on my couch in my clean bedroom. You could also lay on your bed, but be cautious of falling asleep unintentionally! I’d also get myself something cold to drink and something small to snack on. Reading assigned books isn’t always enjoyable, I know (Grapes of Wrath had me writhing at parts), but you have to make the best of the experience. An alternative to the music is an audiobook, available for purchase on iTunes or I downloaded a free audio copy of Heart of Darkness for when I read the Joseph Conrad novel, and hearing the narrator’s vocal inflections gave the words on the paper much more weight in my mind. When you get closer to the class discussion dates, a good idea is to look over the Sparknotes or CliffNotes for the novel. As much as it’s called the “easy way out,” it can really be helpful when you’ve already read the material. What’s great about it, too, is that it’s free to view them online.Good luck to you! And I hope you do read the books, and don’t put it off… (I did that in tenth grade. Failed the test on the first day back and didn’t even crack open the novel. Idiotic move, but it certainly taught me something!)

How do I avoid stress that’s caused by my husband’s lack of interest in what I have to say.

My husband and I are in our 40s. We have two sons, 15 and a 3 1/2 in ages. My husband and our older have a friendship borne out of a number of interests and hobbies they share together such as baseball and playing the guitar. I play the piano so does my husband and son but I am not that interested in baseball. …

Clearly this is hard for you; it is great that your husband and son have a strong bond, but there will come a point when the son leaves home….Of couirse you’re not interested in everything he does, just as he isn’t interestred an everything you do, and this is healthy (you do have other interests, I hope!). However, your husband’s treatment of you is not a good example for your two boys. You might want to ask him how he feels the boys are viewing the role of a husband, as he is by far their major male role model and example. You do both need to weork on your marriage, of course, as everyone does. How many books have you read? I suggest you read Dr Phil McGraw’s excellent book, Relationship Rescue. (I wish I got commission, as I recommend it to so many people!). As he says in the book, it’s not only for people whose relationships are in trouble. When he sees you reading it and making the effort, he may want to follow suit (I wouldn’t read it in front of your children).Good Luck!

How can I transfer my itunes library from my old macbook to my new mac desktop.

I tried the whole Migration Assistant thing but it wants to transfer EVERYTHING from one computer to the other and I just want itunes transferred. Is there a way to do this without just sharing my library or without taking 19 hours on Migration?

Use iTunes BackupITunes offers a built-in back up tool that you can find in the File menu. Just go File – > Backup to Disc. This method will back up your full library (with the exception of audio books from to CD or DVD. All you need are blank discs and some time. However, if you’ve got a big library, or a CD burner rather than a DVD burner, this will take many, many CDs. This may not be the most efficient way to back up, since you’ve already got hard copies of the CDs you’ve added.

I hate to wake up, I wish I could sleep forever…Does anybody feels this way.

I hate my job so much that I don’t want to live. You would say, “go get another job.” I am 42, I do live-in caregiving for Alzheimer’s patient, who talks non-stop same things, asks same questions 100 times. I am thinking to go back to school, either dental assisting, or physical therapy aide. And…

Sorry, Your feeling burned out, and overwhelmed. I have both my parents living in my home, Mom has Alzheimer’s and Dad has Parkinson’s.Plus I work full time at a hospital. At least I have a supporting hubby, unlike your situation. Hope these suggestion will be helpful, I don’t know your whole situation.First- you need to take care of yourself, before you can take care of others. Your overwhelming frustration with your life or indifference toward your job, a persistent irritability, anger and quickness to argue is a clue you are burned out and need to get a tune-up. Take more walks, eat regular, get adequate sleep, get a massage and have your nails done.Second- Look on line for a support group concerning alcoholic spouses. Develop friendships out side of of work or share your feelings with someone you trust and eliminate Negative friend’s.Keep Calling your family for support.Third: Have an outlet, read or do a hobby, exercise and get involved in some activity that gets your mind off work, and relax. I listen to Audible books on tape or music (ear plugs), when my mother is too much.Forth: Seek help for Depression, medication to boost you up, is a world of good. once you feel the tensions mounting, take a healthy step back to fend it off.Going back to school, may be good for you, 42 years old is never to old to return to school. You may even appreciate school better. Your Career counselor could help you decide a new career and how to obtain your goal. You could do studies while doing home care. But try to stick it out at work though, at least till you have other living arrangements/ money……Hope these suggestions help—Gail

How can i download an audiobook for free.

ok i know that it’s technically illegal but i’ve tried to do it legally and it’s not working for me for 2 reasons:1) i’ve tried the free trial on and it gives me errors… so i can’t do that..2) i’ve tried my local library site but they have no audiobooks for the books i…

One possible way to get an audiobook is on itunes. It has a great selection and they download fairly fast.If that doesn’t work for you then you can always go to the “dark side” and download illegally. I know that can pretty much get you anything you want. All you need is a file sharing app (like Limewire). Then go to and get the torrent. Personally I don’t recommend that, though. It’s illegal and could get you into trouble.Try itunes first. Hopefully that helped.

How do I friend everyone in school and prove everyone that I’m not weird.

We have cliques in our school and I want to be that girl that is friends with everyone. So how can I do that and prove everyone wrong that I’m not weird? Oh, and we have a Halloween dance on Friday and how should I ask my crush to dance with me and not look stupid? No rude comments plz thx!

Before giving you any tips I just want you to think slowly, do you REALLY want to be that girl?! Trust me, no one goes more disputes or faces more trouble than that girl! She might be a *itch and just ignore, and most of them are, or she can just take in the pressure, and trust me, not that cool!Reminder: Bill gates said “Be friends with geeks because you will be working for them later”. So make sure you are choosing the correct category for yourself. The problem with schools is that you change to fit teenagers’ judgments, and teenagers judgment is not that wise.Anyway, this does not answer your question, but it’s just a warning that I had to give. Now here are three of the most efficient ways for making more friends:1) Do what you’re good at:find your personal talent, this thing that you can do that no one else can, or you do it better than anyone else (it can be something simple, like a good sense of humour). Nurture this talent/hobby and start doing things in school associated to it. you don’t have to necessarily interact with people, just let them see your talent. This will attract some to you, maybe asking for advice, exploring your talent or just trying to be friends. good friends usually share same interests, so try going to places where you’ll find people sharing your interests. For example if you like music, go to a music school/club or something. If you like literature, try noticing face when you’re in the library then opening conversations about books or something. It is important to open conversations, I do that with random people about random topics, but if you are still starting them make these topics things you are comfortable and familiar with .. your interests!2) Make yourself audible and visible:Interact in classes. Drive your friends to sit in more public places, rather than the corner. Observe people. Know names and adress them with it. Make sure you don’t leave any conversation without telling the other person your name [ there is a trick that if the conversation was too interesting you don’t say your name and leave them wondering for a while and ask other people, so the name locks. But again, I won’t recommend you do that when you’re first trying].The best way of making yourself visible is eye contact, eye-lock for a second with anyone you see ( don’t be a creep though xD ) and if anytime you see people outside school, in a mall or something, that you recognize their face say a hi or even shake a head gently, this will register your picture into their brains. oh! and a smile ALWAYS helps.3) Stop being weird:Don’t show that you are desperately trying to make friends, people never appreciate what’s too easy to get. Be nice, yet don’t CHASE friendships. Like, don’t follow anyone around, and if a conversation is going on and you’re not following don’t try to ask, specially if it’s about a “him” or a “her”. Don’t go and stand with someone if they gesture you to. Chill. Always keep in mind that friendships will come to you. Try to avoid making people seem stupid, like don’t critisize anyone’s answers in class or shout out answers that are smarter than theirs. Teenagers don’t like those who are “better” than them! The only people who you are allowed to critisize in public are teachers 😉 !That’s all that I can think of at the moment, but if you need any further help just add “Additional Details” or report back 🙂 !

How can i get my book to be edit and publish, be in many book stores.

I would love my book to be bestselling 🙂

Don t let anyone discourage you. Not even yourself. If you enjoy writing,do it. Don t let anyone stop you from self publishing either. If you only sell your book to friends and family you are a “prizewinner”. The pride of accomplishment is soooo rewarding and well worth the price to share the talent God has given you. Not everyone can write I am near blind but I write prose and poetry. I am a writer not a typist so I make mistakes. That s what a publisher is for. Kep on writing and ignor those who scoff. You may surprise us all one day.

  2. Get counselling and progress from there. What you’re feeling is common and you CAN get better.

  3. Whatever you do, always focus on the telling moment, and give the telling detail, then get out. Don’t labor too long on too much detail. And don’t do what I often do, and do all the coloring in for your readers. Evoke a situation. Do not tell readers what to think. I was sitting outside on my front porch trying so hard to be “normal” but before I knew it I found myself looking at a telephone pole and trying to break it in half with my mind. I knew then that being like everyone else just wasn’t going to work for me.

  16. I really like how accessible your writing is. The verbs move it along nicely, and you have evoked the mood and atmosphere well. The next time you’re alone, have a warm bath and think, what can you imagine yourself doing in 5 years time? Is it being a dental assistant, or a physical therapy aid.Figure out how many pages you can read in a novel. Once you have your approximate reading hours figured out then you can make a schedule for the next three weeks.

  18. As God’s people, we understand many things that we could not otherwise have known. We know the answers to questions that worldly-wise men have grappled with for millenniums. For example, we know why suffering exists, why people die, and why humans cannot achieve global peace and unity. We have also been blessed with a vision of what the future holds—the Kingdom of God, a paradise earth, and endless life in perfection. We have come to know Jehovah, the Supreme One. We have learned about his appealing personality along with what we must do to enjoy his blessing. Knowing the truth enables us to recognize what is not true. Applying the truth protects us from fruitless pursuits, enables us to get the best out of life, and gives us a marvelous hope for the future.

Being a dental assistant, they don’t talk as much as a physical aid would.Do you understand Bible truth? If so, you have been richly blessed. When an author writes a book, he or she usually fashions it to appeal to a specific group of people. Some books are written for the highly educated, others for children, still others for those in specialized fields. While the Bible is easily available to all, it is meant to be understood and appreciated by a particular group of people. Jehovah crafted it for the humble, the meek ones of the earth. Such people can grasp the sense of the Bible, whatever their education, culture, station in life, or ethnic group. (1 Timothy 2:3, 4) On the other hand, an understanding of Bible truth is denied to those not rightly disposed, no matter how intelligent or educated they may be. The haughty, the proud, cannot grasp the precious truths of God’s Word. (Matthew 13:11-15; Luke 10:21; Acts 13:48) Only God could produce such a book.

  28. In a description of “the time of the end,” the prophet Daniel foretold quite a different development among God’s people—a revival of religious truth. He wrote: “Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.” (Daniel 12:4) Jehovah’s people are not confused or blinded by the great Deceiver. Roving through the pages of the Bible, they have come to acquire true knowledge. In the first century, Jesus enlightened his disciples. He “opened up their minds fully to grasp the meaning of the Scriptures.” (Luke 24:45) In our day, Jehovah has acted similarly. Through his Word, his spirit, and his organization, he has enabled millions throughout the earth to understand what he already knows—the truth.Crow offers the best advice. 30. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. No, I don’t think christians say that God in the OT did anything wrong at all…. The New Testament isn’t a correction at all… Christians believe that God was demonstrating His standards of righteousness under the OT in order to show people that they couldn’t live up to His perfection, and in the NT, He gave us a better way to come to Him instead of trying to be good on our own.

The trick is that you can’t use your husband’s relationship with your son as a reason to be upset. You need to focus on his lack of communication with you instead.

  42. John 1Take: “The black horse jumped over the fence.” What about “The sable steed eased over the barrier.” ? There is the effect of the alliterated “S” “sable steed.” The sibilants can have a connotation of cunning (like a snake) but the higher quality word “sable” also speaks of an animal capable of stately deportment. “Eased” shows the steed’s effortless ability and quiet power. A “barrier”- maybe this has something to do with a symbol we are building in the scene. Maybe it is more important that the steed passes over a barrier, rather than just clears a fence. Especially if atop the steed rode a princess, whose heart was set on a campaign of conquest.
